Lamai beach
This is where we spent most of our time on Koh Samui. As our trip came to an end, we decided to relax a lot. On our first day, we were just looking for a place to get some food and found this place where we ended up staying the whole day and even the next afternoon: The Potato beach club. If you order a drink or some food, you will get free sunbeds and free access to the infinity pool. How perfect? So, we spend the whole day at the ocean, got refreshed in the amazing pool and relaxed a lot.
Am Lamai beach verbrachten wir die meiste Zeit auf Koh Samui. Da unser Trip bald ein Ende nehmen würde, entschlossen wir noch einmal so richtig zu entspannen. An unserem ersten Tag auf Koh Samui waren wir zur Mittagszeit nur auf der Suche nach etwas zu Essen und fanden dabei diesen Ort, an dem wir schlussendlich den ganzen Mittag und den darauffolgenden Tag verbrachten. Der `Potato beach club´ hatte es uns angetan. Wenn man sich hier etwas zu trinken oder Essen bestellt, erhält man kostenlose Sonnenliegen und freien Eintritt zum Infinity Pool. Einfach genau das, was wir brauchten an diesem Tag.
Bophut beach
To be honest, I expected way more from that beach than I got. In my opinion not the prettiest beach, but a popular one. Bohut is well-known for it´s cute `Fisherman village`. A nice district with many (street-) shops, bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend to check it out. And what made me fall in love with Bophut was the prettiest bar I have ever been to - not kidding! Coco Tam´s Bar! It looks like a bar in Tulum with swings at the bar, hammocks and beach vibes. Because I really fell in love with this bar, I wrote a whole blogpost about it.
Um ehrlich zu sein, erwartete ich von dem hochangepriesenen Bophut beach deutlich mehr. Meiner Meinung nach ist dieser Strand aber nicht sonderlich schön. Wodurch ich trotzdem gute Erinnerungen an Bophut habe, liegt an der schönen Fishermans village. In diesem Bezirk findet man viele nette Restaurants, Bars und Straßenshops. Hauptsächlich aber haben wir die schönste Bar, die ich jemals besucht habe, entdeckt – kein Scherz! Coco Tam´s Bar. Eine Bar wie aus Tulum, mit Schaukeln an der Bar, Hängematten und toller Dekoration. Ich habe mich so in diese Bar verliebt und deshalb ihr einen ganzen Blogpost gewidmet.
Silver beach
A beautiful beach hidden behind a resort with crystal blue water, rock formations and a cute beach bar.
Ein wirklich schöner Strand versteckt hinter einem Resort, mit sehr klarem Wasser, schönem Sandstrand, Felsformationen und einem Restaurant.
Chaweng beach
This is perhaps the most popular beach on the island. Chaweng is a place where many tourists stay and offers many restaurants, bars and clubs – so I expected a full-of-people, not-really-special-beach. However, I have to say it was the prettiest beach on the island. Almost white sand, crystal blue water and so clean! My expectations were exceeded – a really good place for an afternoon!
Dies ist mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit der berühmteste Strand auf der Insel. Die Stadt Chaweng ist voller Touristen, Hotels, Restaurants, Bars und Clubs. Ich erhoffte mir also keinen allzu schönen Strand. Es stellte sich aber heraus, dass dieser Strand der Schönste auf der ganzen Insel war. Heller Sandstrand, kristallklares Wasser und so sauber überstreckt sich Chaweng beach über 6 Kilometer hinweg. Ein wirklich schöner Ort für einen entspannten Mittag.
